Nagasaki was bombed exactly four years before I was born and, naturally, I have no memories of Harry Truman. I visited the Harry Truman Presidential Library and Museum a few years ago, though, and I was very impressed with what I learned about Mr. "Buck Stops Here". The things that stand out in my mind is the fact that he ended WW II and began America's incomparable thirty years of financial success and that he went home on a train and lived like a normal human being after his term in office ended. I hate to believe that he ever imagined the CIA would turn into the monster it has become.
